三、物理性質：

重質碳酸鈣簡稱重鈣是由天然碳酸鈣礦物如方解石、大理石磨碎而成。無毒、無刺激性、無味、色澤好、白度高，對其它顏色的干擾小，易著色、硬度低，對加工設備損輕，化學性穩定，屬惰性填料，熱分解溫度為800 o C以上，易干燥，水分易除去，無結晶水，而且**廉。
四、用途：
重質碳酸鈣可分為普通重質碳酸鈣和超細重質碳酸鈣等。重質碳酸鈣通常用作填料，還廣泛用于人造地磚、橡膠、塑料、造紙、涂料、油漆、油墨、電纜、建筑用品、食品、醫藥、紡織、飼料、牙膏等日用化工行業，作填充劑起到增加產品的體積，降低生產成本。
①在橡膠中的應用
用于橡膠中，可增加橡膠的體積，**橡膠的加工性，起半補強或補強作用，并可調節橡膠的硬度。
②在塑料中的應用
