鋯英砂簡介

? ? 鋯英砂是一種主要由火成巖形成時從巖漿中結晶出來的鋯、硅和氧組成的礦物。鋯英砂也產于巖脈和變質巖中。鋯英砂屬四方晶系，常呈發育良好的錐狀小四方柱體，也成不規則粒狀，性脆，斷口貝殼狀。鋯英砂多與鈦鐵礦、金紅石、獨居石、磷釔礦等共生于海濱砂中，經水選、電選、磁選等選礦工藝分選后而得到。鋯英砂理論組成為：ZrO2:67.1；SiO2:32.9 以及少量的Fe2O3、CaO、Al2O3等雜質，理論上純鋯英砂含有67.23 ZrO2和32.77 SiO2。

? ? 鋯英砂可制作玻璃窯的鋯英石磚，盛鋼桶用鋯英石磚、搗打料和澆注料；添加到其它材料中可**其性能，如合成堇青石中添加鋯英砂，可拓寬堇青石的燒結范圍，而又不影響其熱震穩定性；在高鋁磚中添加鋯英砂，制造抗剝落高鋁磚，熱震穩定性大大提高；還可用于提取ZrO2。
