? ? 鋁鎂尖晶石屬于一種鋁鎂氧化物，其主要成分為氧化鋁和氧化鎂。鋁鎂尖晶石有天然形成和人工合成兩種。天然鎂砂尖晶石極少發現，工業上應用的鋁鎂尖晶石全部都是人工合成的，合成鋁鎂尖晶石的兩個主要方法是燒結法和電熔法。多數尖晶石材料是由高純合成氧化鋁和化學級氧化鎂制成，即在豎窯燒結和在電弧爐內電熔。

? ? 電熔鋁鎂尖晶石是制造滑板、水口磚、平爐爐磚的理想材料。鋁鎂尖晶石制品的高溫力學性能良好，是大型水泥窯中性水泥窯過濾帶、耐火澆注料、高中窯具的基本原料。電熔鋁鎂尖晶石用于鋼鐵冶煉、玻璃工業窯爐。
